On January 24th, Microsoft released a regularly scheduled update that created a previously unseen issue where requests to Teams were throttled and users were not able to login. Microsoft had to make adjustments to throttling limits and system capacity on their side to resolve the issue.

Monitoring
At this time service may be available. Microsoft has see some services return to normal but continue to optimize traffic patterns and apply configuration changes intended to reduce customer impact as quickly as possible. Engineers are continuing to monitor the service and we will confirm once it has been fully tested.
