Impact: Blackboard will be UNAVAILABLE from on and off-campus between Saturday, December 19th at 12:01 AM and Monday, December 21st at 5 PM.
Action: Plan ahead to have any content you may need from Blackboard. We recommend that instructors refrain from posting content to the system until our testing and post-migration work has been completed. We will post an announcement on our Service Status Page as soon as it is safe to edit courses.
Purpose: As we scale down our use of Blackboard and transition to D2L Brightspace, this change is necessary to manage the Blackboard environment and keep it available for Spring courses.
Note: On Monday, December 21st we will perform additional testing and remediation of any broken tool integrations. We anticipate that the NuVu tool used in Architecture will be unavailable until Jan. 5th due to the unavailability of the vendor's staff during this time to assist with reconnecting the tool.
