Postmortem

On 5/12, one of the Banner Admin servers issued an out of memory (OOM) killer due to critically low memory which caused the Tomcat server to return a 502 Bad Gateway error to end users trying to log in. Restarting the Tomcat server brought Banner Admin back on line, and configuration changes to the Linux server resolved the memory leakage issue.

Banner Admin is currently unavailable, and we are investigating the issue. Both LeopardWeb and Argos are functioning at this time.
