In response to recent reports of increased cyber security risks, Technology Services will be applying security patches to all servers this evening. During the maintenance window, any system may be unresponsive for a short period of time. Due to the nature of the work, an exact schedule will not be provided. However we will post updates to indicate services which have been completed and should be considered fully available.
We do not expect that this will impact the wired or wireless networks, including Internet service. Upgrades affecting printing services will be completed outside of the regular hours for the Douglas D. Schumann Library & Learning Commons.
We regularly schedule updates to systems to maintain a high level of service. They may include security patches, feature upgrades, or both. Please contact the Help Desk to report a concern regarding the timing of this event or with any questions about what may be impacted during the maintenance window.
